I came across the idea of Project 365: A Photo A Day. The idea behind it is to track your daily life through photos. I love photography and thought that taking one picture a day would not only have [hopefully] awesome shots, it will help to show what I consider to be important. As an added bonus, taking a photo a day will make me a better photographer. Enjoy my life through a lens.

Details: OK, so I figure most people would have expected firework pictures for the Fourth of July, but unfortunately Mother Nature did NOT cooperate with us. The marine layer never left the coast so when some of us rode our bikes to the beach to watch the fireworks go off from the pier we couldn't see ANYTHING from the shore... Bummer, but hey, here is some nature for you. :)
