I came across the idea of Project 365: A Photo A Day. The idea behind it is to track your daily life through photos. I love photography and thought that taking one picture a day would not only have [hopefully] awesome shots, it will help to show what I consider to be important. As an added bonus, taking a photo a day will make me a better photographer. Enjoy my life through a lens.

Details: I took a picture of the gnome that Ryan and I have on our porch a couple weeks ago. I noticed last week that there were a couple gnomes in the front yard of the apartment complex. They aren't well maintained, but maybe that is so that the blend in a little better (you know, gnomes probably want to blend in so that if they run around and don't get back in the exact same spot as they were before people wouldn't notice it :) ).
